The Oracle SPARC T8-4 server is an enterprise-grade, mission-critical system built on the SPARC M8 processor. It supports configurations with 64 or 128 processors and up to 8TB of memory. Its unique dynamic threading allows per-processor adjustment of up to 8 threads. Combined with near-zero-overhead Oracle Solaris virtualization, this architecture substantially reduces cost per virtual machine. The system supports up to 105TB NVMe accelerated storage, offers 16 PCIe 3.0 expansion slots, and provides 4 10GbE ports. Encased in a compact 6U chassis, it delivers ultra-high reliability (RAS). Running Oracle Solaris 11.4, it includes Oracle VM Server for SPARC and Oracle Solaris Zones for zero-cost virtualization, ensuring binary compatibility with Solaris 8/9/10 applications.
